Car overheating in the winter? Should that even be possible?

You need to replace the thermostat before you do damage to your car, such as ruining the motor. It appears to be sticking, if it sticks open, it will not allow the water temp to heat up, if it sticks shut, it causes to much heat in the the engine, causing damage. Good luck
