You could always have one that comes as a travel system. I have the Graco Mosaic, which is forward facing but you can fit the car seat onto the buggy - making baby face you - for the first few monhs. Also, it's reasonably priced, comes in some lovely designs, folds up very small (i have a tiny car boot - Fiat Punto) and the buggy will last until baby's at least 3.
