What does it mean to dream of the shadow of death, the dream really frightened me?

I had a dream , I was sleeping peacfully when suddenly a black cloak over shadowed me and I couldn't see a thing but I could feel and breath, I knew I was being over shadowed by death and I still get a morbid feeling from the dream , can anyone help me understand this dream
