Lug pattern help please?

looking to buy 22 inch rims for my grand marquis and i looked up the pattern on them and it says there 5x4.5 and the 22 inch rims are just a 5 lug pattern and they are on a 96 cadillac fleetwood which says thecar is 5.5 lug pattern but i guess thats all stats on stock cars... can anyone help me and hopefully make my night haha
